Logistics Systems Engineer (d/f/m) – Donauwörth

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Logistics Systems Engineer (d/f/m) to support the Logistic ELT2 Team at its Donauwörth site, where helicopters are developed from concept to airworthy product.

Key responsibilities

• Design intra‑ and inter‑site logistics processes and infrastructure to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Create warehouse layouts and specify infrastructure to optimise flow and space utilisation.
• Specify logistics means in collaboration with internal customers to ensure safe, efficient material handling.
• Develop and maintain logistics work instructions, ensuring clarity and operational applicability.
• Monitor process execution, identify inconsistencies and contribute to corrective action plans.
• Support digitalisation initiatives and analyse shop‑floor logistics flows to identify improvement levers.

Required profile

• Degree in logistics or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in logistics engineering, field service or logistics platforms.
• Business‑level proficiency in German and English; French is a plus.
• Ability to navigate a complex corporate environment.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP systems, preferably the EWM warehouse management module.
• Strong expertise in process design and process optimisation.
• Knowledge of logistics system design and implementation.
