Senior Consultant – Automotive & Product Security

About the role

Join an interdisciplinary team of experts at Wavestone Germany AG to help leading companies secure their automotive and product portfolios. As a Senior Consultant you will advise and coach clients on managing the cyber security of their products, while taking ownership of both organisational and technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project or sub‑project packages for automotive and product security initiatives.
• Develop and implement management systems, guidelines and processes for security governance.
• Conduct technical activities such as Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), define security requirements, design security concepts, manage software‑update strategies and perform security testing.
• Coach junior team members and support their career development.
• Collaborate with clients to translate security needs into actionable solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in cyber security, product security, engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of practical project experience in relevant industries (automotive, medical devices, production lines).
• Ability to view issues from multiple perspectives and propose creative solutions.
• Strong enthusiasm for digitalisation, technology and the use of AI tools.
• Fluent German and English (C1 or higher).
• Team‑oriented personality with a sense of humour.
