Systems Engineer – High Lift Flight Controls

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Flight Controls engineering department in Bremen. You will work on the High Lift System across the Airbus product line, developing and supporting safety‑critical architectures using modern model‑based methods.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate the High Lift System and its sub‑system control architecture.
• Apply automated control technologies, including filtering, estimation and stability analysis.
• Define checks and balances throughout the development cycle to ensure product maturity at milestone gates.
• Identify lifecycle activities for design, maintenance and support of the product.
• Define work package contents and manage associated activities.

Required profile

• University degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in electrical engineering, information technology, systems engineering or a related field.
• Broad knowledge in at least two disciplines such as communications/controls technology, sensing and data generation, software development or systems engineering.
• Good understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering tools and processes.
