3D Motion Design Lead – NFTs & Web3

About the role

Moonbase is looking for a 3D Motion Design Lead to shape the motion design language for its NFT and Web3 projects. You will become the go‑to person for all things 3D, working remotely or from our Berlin office while collaborating with top‑tier 3D artists and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Explore and lead motion design for NFT and Web3 initiatives.
• Create user‑centric motion content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, TV, email, websites and OOH.
• Elevate Moonbase’s visual identity and develop insight‑driven ad rotations.
• Design compelling motion concepts together with creative directors and graphic designers for B2C and B2B projects.
• Act as a sparring partner for the management team and guide projects from concept through storyboarding, animation and audio editing.
• Edit and brand assets across social media, website and other channels to ensure a consistent motion style.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional experience in animation, motion design or video editing, preferably in an agency or studio environment.
• Proven ability to lead a small team (e.g., 6 members) and manage multiple dynamic projects.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Completed studies or comparable training in motion or media design.
