About the role

Are you a relentless deal hunter who thrives on high‑volume sales and the thrill of closing contracts quickly? At DataGuard you will drive new business growth in the SMB and Mid‑market segments, working with a hybrid security‑compliance solution and a strong portfolio of existing logos.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically position DataGuard’s multi‑suite hybrid solution with decision‑makers to generate new business.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to hand‑over to the Customer Success team.
• Develop and execute compelling sales plans that unlock untapped opportunities in your territory.
• Maintain a robust pipeline using a multi‑touch channel approach and accurately document activities in the CRM.
• Forecast annual recurring revenue (ARR) with precision and contribute to long‑term growth.
• Consistently exceed individual quota and drive revenue forward.

Required profile

• University degree in business, economics, marketing or a comparable field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a B2B SaaS closing role with a proven quota‑attainment record.
• Strong lead‑generation skills, especially outbound prospecting.
• Excellent ability to engage business leaders and functional managers using the MEDDIC methodology.
• Analytical mindset combined with a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
• Team player with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Native‑level German and very good English communication skills.
