Account Manager – Digital & Communications

About the role

AKQA is looking for an Account Manager based in Berlin to lead client relationships for global brands across communications and digital projects. You will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the agency, driving innovative work that inspires audiences and delivers measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Establish collaborative partnerships with key clients to meet business objectives.
• Facilitate effective workflow between project team members and multiple project streams.
• Own project performance, ensuring flawless execution, budget adherence, and timeline delivery.
• Manage client expectations, status reporting, and strategic alignment with senior leadership.
• Develop deep understanding of each client’s business environment, audience, and market trends.
• Coordinate multiple suppliers, partners, and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Review deliverables to guarantee they meet client expectations and brand standards.
• Provide strategic thinking and formulate client‑ready proposals and presentations.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of account management experience in a leading creative studio, digital agency, or similar organisation.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude with a passion for innovative, change‑making work.
• Ability to manage international project teams under high‑pressure conditions.
