About the role
Adyen is looking for an Account Manager to join its Berlin team. You will work with a portfolio of mid‑sized, fast‑growth merchants across multiple industries, helping them maximise the value of Adyen’s payments platform. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and the chance to collaborate with a multicultural, entrepreneurial team.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow Account Managers on a pooled approach to serve a diverse set of merchants.
- Manage and grow customer relationships, focusing on commercial growth, satisfaction and churn reduction.
- Lead commercial discussions, aiming to meet strategic and financial targets for each account.
- Prioritise and execute short‑ and long‑term projects, coordinating with internal support teams as needed.

- Proactive, adaptable and strategic thinker with a hands‑on mentality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving mutual success.
