Accountant – Accounts Payable

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant specialized in Accounts Payable to join our finance team. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the internal controlling function.

Key responsibilities

• Document and administer all supplier invoices, including gathering signatures and reviewing delivery documents.
• Compare prices between purchase orders and invoices to verify accuracy.
• Remit authorized supplier invoices while managing liquidity and payment terms.
• Prepare invoices and related documents for external accounting.
• Assist the internal controlling team and communicate with external accounting and tax consultants.
• Support the annual inventory taking and maintain related documentation.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Accounting Manager of Finance.
• Manage contracts through database processing and keep the cash book and corporate fund records up to date.
• Handle general administrative tasks, internal and external correspondence, and train new employees or trainees in office management.

Required profile

• Vocational training in finance or a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a similar area.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
