About the role

The University is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Accountant for its campus in the Hannover‑Braunschweig‑Göttingen‑Wolfsburg region. You will be responsible for managing daily financial operations and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping, financial reporting and budget management on a day‑to‑day basis.
Prepare, analyse and present financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational ability and analytical thinking.
Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
