About the role

We are looking for an AI Data Engineer to create the core data layer that powers a next‑generation AI system for SAP consulting. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and artificial intelligence, turning complex enterprise data into structured, queryable knowledge that continuously improves model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable data layer that maps configurations, outcomes, and patterns across SAP projects.
• Own the metadata architecture, including labeling, linking, versioning, and ensuring queryability.
• Build robust pipelines to ingest SAP telemetry and consulting insights into clean, structured datasets.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to deliver high‑quality signals for model training and inference.
• Continuously refine data systems with each customer deployment, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
• Architect solutions with a long‑term, scalable mindset rather than short‑term fixes.

Required profile

• Strong background in data engineering with experience in pipeline development, schema design, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to work with complex, semi‑structured enterprise data.
• Experience or familiarity with graph‑based systems (knowledge graphs, graph databases) or relational modeling for intricate domains.
• Systems‑level thinking focused on architecture, scalability, and data quality.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Berlin (mandatory).
