AI-First QA Engineer – Quality & Test Automation

About the role

EverReal is building an AI‑driven operating system for real‑estate transactions. As an AI‑First QA Engineer you will own the quality of the platform, guiding AI‑generated tests while applying human judgment to ensure reliability at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the final quality gate for every release and sign‑off production deployments.
• Conduct manual, exploratory, functional, regression and user‑acceptance testing.
• Maintain and evolve Gherkin scenarios that define correct product behavior.
• Review AI‑generated test cases (Gherkin and manual) for accuracy.
• Direct AI to implement and run Playwright end‑to‑end and API tests, monitoring results and keeping the suite green.
• Tri­age production incidents, distinguish real bugs from flaky failures, and collaborate with AI, Datadog and Sentry for root‑cause analysis.
• Continuously automate repetitive tasks by teaching AI to perform them after the first manual execution.
• Produce clear bug reports, regression checklists, and release notes (AI‑drafted, human‑approved).

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make judgment calls on test results.
• Experience in quality assurance and test automation within SaaS products.
• Comfortable working with AI‑assisted tools and guiding their output.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying risks.
