Android Developer – Build Scalable Mobile Platform

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to join our international technology team and help build and enhance a large‑scale mobile platform used by millions worldwide. You will work on complex engineering challenges, contribute to product innovation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of mobile features, from API design to polished UI implementation.
• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications using modern practices.
• Solve challenges related to background services, offline synchronization, location services, and intelligent routing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver new features.
• Participate in technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and conduct code reviews.
• Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and overall engineering efficiency.
• Maintain components throughout their lifecycle, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing Android applications with Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM architecture.
• Solid understanding of Dependency Injection, Clean Architecture, and multi‑module Android projects.
• Deep knowledge of Android platform capabilities such as background services, battery optimisation, and system constraints.
• Experience integrating with backend services via RESTful or micro‑service APIs.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code and work independently in an Agile environment.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
