Android Mobile Application Developer for AI Neobank

About the role

We are seeking an Android engineer to create and enhance the native experience of KIRA’s AI‑powered neobank application. You will work closely with product and design teams to deliver clean, high‑performance mobile flows that serve millions of users across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement end‑to‑end user journeys for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and other financial services.
• Integrate and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring stability, security and reliability.
• Optimize app performance, reduce crash rates, improve loading times and manage memory usage.
• Leverage on‑device AI with TensorFlow Lite to enhance user experiences where it adds value.
• Monitor analytics and production issues to continuously refine the product.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals and a track record of shipping production apps.
• Passion for delivering excellent mobile UX and handling edge cases.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
