Android Software Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

As an Android Software Engineer you will design, develop, deploy and maintain our flagship Android application. Working closely with product, design and engineering teams you will shape the Kotlin Multiplatform strategy and ensure a seamless user experience throughout the full application lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) approach and propose shared business‑logic architecture.
• Own the end‑to‑end Android app lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, CI/CD, release and maintenance.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews and monitor crash rates to guarantee high quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers during scoping, planning and delivery.
• Continuously improve performance and usability based on user feedback and data.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java; Kotlin Multiplatform experience is a plus.
• Ownership mindset, strong problem‑solving skills and fluent English (German a plus).
