About the role

This full‑time, on‑site pharmacist position is based in Wentorf bei Hamburg at a modern community pharmacy. The role focuses on safe dispensing, patient counseling, and supporting the pharmacy’s daily operations within a retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications while checking for drug interactions and ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards.
• Provide clear, patient‑centered advice on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, storage, and stock control.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities, documentation, and collaboration with prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate prescription processing records and support the pharmacy’s customer service objectives.

Required profile

• Completed pharmacy degree (Apotheker/in) and a valid German pharmacy license.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and current pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in German; additional language abilities are a plus.
• High reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
• Comfort working in a retail pharmacy setting and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
