Apprenticeship as a Machine and Plant Operator

About the role

Join Excelitas Technologies in Regen as an apprentice machine and plant operator. You will receive hands‑on training on state‑of‑the‑art CNC production machines and learn to combine high‑tech processes with traditional craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Learn to set up and retool CNC machines in a dedicated training workshop with a full‑time instructor.
• Operate various manual and industrial manufacturing techniques on the production floor.
• Inspect tools and machines, perform routine maintenance and optimise production processes.
• Apply quality‑control measures and preventive maintenance to improve product quality.

Required profile

• Completed middle school or high school and ready to start an apprenticeship after school.
• Strong interest in machines, tools and production equipment.
• Good manual dexterity and willingness to work with hands.
• Team‑oriented, reliable and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of CNC machine operation.
• Familiarity with manual and industrial manufacturing techniques.
