About the role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Area Manager to lead our machinery business in South Germany and Austria. Based in Augsburg, you will own the sales budget and drive growth across the assigned territory, working independently and resiliently to expand our brand presence.
Key responsibilities
- Define and achieve sales objectives for the South Germany & Austria region.
- Directly sell products to end‑customers and dealers, and acquire new points of sale.
- Plan and coordinate sales actions, demos, trade fairs and events.
- Maintain a strong distribution network and develop key accounts.
- Conduct weekly/monthly activity planning, after‑sales follow‑up and prospect meetings.
- Negotiate sales contracts and manage relationships with local retail shops.
- Collaborate with the administrative department on credit management.
- Scout culinary schools for product demonstrations and loan placements, coordinating with Brand Ambassadors.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales role within the food technology or machinery sector.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong independence and resilience.
- Proven ability to manage a territory, build distribution networks and achieve sales targets.
