Area Sales Manager – Laboratory Automation

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to expand our presence in South Germany and Austria. You will promote cutting‑edge robotic liquid handling equipment to academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, and clinical customers, combining technical insight with strong sales expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and convert new prospects across South Germany and Austria.
• Present and demonstrate robotic liquid handling solutions to potential clients.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts to secure repeat business.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and showcase products.
• Prepare detailed sales proposals, pricing, and forecasts for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably with capital laboratory equipment.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows and automation solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.
