Assistant Shop Manager – Berlin

About the role

As an Assistant Shop Manager you will support the Shop Manager in the daily operations of a busy donut shop in Berlin. You will be the friendly face of the brand, delivering excellent customer service while helping to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead floor shifts by preparing coffee, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Assist with planning and ordering donut inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and manage store inventory.
• Create shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
• Train, onboard and coach new team members.
• Provide feedback, enforce safety and hygiene standards, and participate in management meetings.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or retail.
• Passion for customer service and a love for donuts.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Problem‑solver with a hands‑on attitude.
• Ability to communicate in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain the required health‑hygiene certification.

Required skills

• Barista skills (specialty coffee preparation).
