Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

Peak Performance Munich seeks an energetic Assistant Store Manager with visual merchandising responsibility. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain the store’s visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑quality shopping experience with personalized service and product advice.
• Drive sales by applying various sales techniques and meeting store targets.
• Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain well‑stocked shelves and manage inventory.
• Schedule staff, handle recruitment, and train team members.
• Oversee visual merchandising, including window displays and seasonal themes, and conduct visual training.

Required profile

• Outgoing, customer‑focused personality with a passion for sales.
• Organised, structured and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire the team.
• High school diploma required; business or management degree is a plus.
• Fluent in German and preferably English, both spoken and written.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
