Assistant Store Manager (Sales & Service)

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager (Sales & Service) will support the General Manager in delivering ALO’s business and guest experience strategy. This role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer interactions, and developing the store team in line with ALO’s guiding principles.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate sales opportunities, identify root causes, and work with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
• Lead the Sales & Service team to provide an outstanding guest experience through product education, coaching, and feedback.
• Maintain daily client relationships and ensure effective floor coverage through workforce planning.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement the store’s Sales & Service strategy.
• Represent the business in meetings, monitor budgets, expenses, sell‑through metrics, and contribute to quarterly business reviews.
• Coach and develop team members, promote ALO’s mission, and manage scheduling in partnership with the General Manager.
• Execute deliverables of the ALO Sales and Service Model, ensuring operational efficiency and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Prior leadership experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong passion for achieving business targets, sales growth, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to ALO’s mission and guiding principles.
