Assistant Store Manager (Stock & Operations)

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager (Stock & Operations) supports the store leadership team in delivering ALO’s operational strategy. You will ensure the store is always ready for customers by overseeing inventory accuracy, labor planning, and daily operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of key operational processes on the sales floor.
• Investigate and resolve inventory accuracy issues, escalating process or system gaps as needed.
• Maintain strong operational standards by leveraging performance data.
• Manage sell‑through by ensuring accurate inventory counts and coordinating labor hours for product deliveries.
• Support a safe and efficient work environment.
• Partner with the General Manager to review budgets, expenses, and sell‑through metrics.
• Lead the Operations team, providing coaching, talent development, and clear communication.
• Develop schedules that align with business strategy in collaboration with the General Manager.

Required profile

• Prior leadership experience in retail or a related industry.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑changing environment.
• Motivation to drive business performance and operational excellence.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
