Automation Engineer – Production Lines (Berlin)

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to lead the automation of our OLED production lines in Berlin. You will work with cutting‑edge technology to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality for our high‑tech active packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, procure and install automation components for OLED production lines, including conveyor belts and robot systems.
• Optimize processes such as ink‑jet printing, inert‑gas annealing and PVD coating.
• Identify process bottlenecks, develop corrective solutions and implement continuous‑improvement measures.
• Set up operating mechanisms for individual processing stations and create maintenance work plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation hardware and software.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience automating semiconductor or similar production lines using vacuum, printing and inert‑gas equipment.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in OLED lighting or display manufacturing, preferably with printing processes.
• Proven ability to scale up production processes and solve technical challenges.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
