Bachelor thesis in SAP ERP & Data Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a bachelor‑level student to complete a thesis focused on SAP ERP and data analytics within Airbus Operations in Hamburg. The role offers hands‑on experience with real‑world ERP data and the chance to contribute to process optimisation in the customer line department.

Key responsibilities

• Get acquainted with the department’s SAP‑based ERP system and related business processes.
• Analyse operational process data to identify bottlenecks, anomalies or optimisation potential.
• Apply basic data‑analytics or process‑mining methods suitable for a bachelor‑level scope.
• Derive data‑backed recommendations to improve efficiency and workflow predictability.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time bachelor student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration (IT focus) or a related field.
• First practical experience or strong academic interest in ERP systems, especially SAP data structures.
• Basic programming knowledge in data‑relevant languages such as Python, R or SQL.
• Fluent in German and English with good communication skills.
