Back of House Attendant – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Munich Marriott City West is looking for a Back of House Attendant to keep its kitchen and service areas clean, organized, and ready for daily operations. You will work behind the scenes to support the Food & Beverage teams, ensuring equipment, utensils, and workspaces meet the highest hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies correctly.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquets, conferences, and special events.
• Support the management and inventory of Food & Beverage equipment.
• Identify and report maintenance, hygiene, and safety concerns.
• Uphold Marriott, HACCP, and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stewarding, food & beverage operations, hospitality, or a kitchen environment.
• Strong understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in a professional hospitality setting.
• Organized, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional attitude, motivated mindset, and attention to detail.
• EU work permit for Germany and mandatory German language skills.
