Backend Software Engineer – Odoo Integration (Berlin)

About the role

Join CYCLE’s tech team in Berlin as a Backend Software Engineer. You will be responsible for extending and maintaining our Odoo‑based ERP system, ensuring smooth integration with internal and external services that keep our e‑bike fleet operational.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules using Python.
• Design and implement system integrations via REST APIs and other interfaces.
• Automate business processes within the ERP environment.
• Analyse functional requirements from Finance and Operations teams and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and stability of the ERP and related services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Document system architecture and process flows.

Required profile

• Professional experience in backend development with Python.
• Understanding of ERP processes such as accounting, warehousing, and sales.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and API interfaces.
• Structured, solution‑oriented working style.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in German and English.
