Bartender (m/f/d)

About the role

The Hoxton, Charlottenburg in Berlin, the group's first German property, is looking for a Bartender to join its Food & Beverage team. Working closely with the Head Bartender, you will be the friendly face behind the bar, shaking cocktails, pouring drinks and making genuine connections with guests.

Key responsibilities

• Create a fun, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where guests can unwind and connect.
• Prepare and serve coffee, soft drinks, classic cocktails and seasonal creations with consistency and attention to detail.
• Build genuine connections with guests by making recommendations and sharing knowledge.
• Know the drinks menu, products and systems inside out and stay curious about new trends, ingredients and techniques.
• Serve drinks in line with quality, presentation and service standards.
• Keep the bar clean, organised and fully stocked, monitor stock levels and minimise waste.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Support the wider Food & Beverage team and teammates across the bar, lobby and wintergarden.

Required profile

• Previous bartending experience in a busy environment.
• Basic knowledge of wine, spirits and preferably beer.
• Fluent English and good German; additional languages are highly valued.
• Flexible to work rotative shifts and on weekends.
• Passion for hospitality and a people person who enjoys working in a supportive, fun team.
