Brand & Visual Identity Designer (Refresh)

About the role

We are an AI‑native recruiting startup building a voice‑first job‑search experience. We need a Brand & Visual Identity Designer to audit our existing brand, refine its visual system, and create distinct identities for two AI agents that power our product.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a brand audit of current assets (logo, color, typography, imagery, UI patterns, tone) and identify elements to keep, evolve, or discard.
• Develop a visual direction that translates the desired vibe into mood boards, reference points, and design rationale.
• Refresh the identity system—color palette, type, imagery style, iconography, and key UI components—focused on the jobs website.
• Design visual identities for two AI agents, including naming support, avatar/mark, and styling for chat and voice interactions.
• Produce lightweight guidelines (one‑pager or short deck) documenting the updated system and AI agent identities for consistent implementation.

Required profile

• Portfolio demonstrating real brand work with clear identity thinking and rationale.
• Experience refreshing or evolving existing brands rather than creating from scratch.
• Ability to work within constraints while pushing the brand forward.
• Bonus: experience designing character or mascot identities and work with B2B/tech or recruiting‑related brands.
