Business Development Manager – AI Products & Solutions

About the role

Sigma Software is expanding its AI division and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth of AI‑powered platforms, intelligent automation and machine learning applications. You will work with an international team to identify new opportunities, shape proposals and bring innovative AI solutions to global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target new customers and sales opportunities for AI‑driven solutions.
• Lead the full sales cycle: deliver presentations, develop proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Align company offerings with client expectations and constraints, ensuring proposals meet business needs.
• Prepare sales documentation such as case studies, contracts, work orders and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and ensure proposals meet profitability KPIs.
• Facilitate smooth hand‑over of new accounts to the Delivery team.
• Expand professional network and monitor AI‑related market events and conferences.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• 3+ years of business development or sales experience in IT/software development, with proven success on AI projects.
• Track record of completing complex AI proposals and formal tenders.
• Advanced English and German communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong negotiation, business communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
