Business Development Manager – Hochheim

About the role

Tetra Pak is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth in a defined territory in Germany. You will identify, prioritize and pursue new customer opportunities, aligning prospect plans with both Tetra Pak and client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Map industry categories within the assigned territory and develop a prospecting plan based on market attractiveness.
• Collaborate with functional counterparts (Processing, Sales, Retail Management, Marketing, Communication) to ensure alignment.
• Lead sales activities with identified prospects, supported by local sales resources.
• Manage customer relationships during the start‑up phase and support portfolio deployment.
• Provide market and product feedback to Product Management and Business Intelligence teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of sales/BD experience at Tetra Pak or 4 years of business development experience elsewhere.
• Proven track record of generating new business from suspect to prospect.
• Strong understanding of the local market, customer categories and retailer environment.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % and a valid driver’s licence.
