Business Development Manager

About the role

Gazer, an international manufacturer of automotive security systems, is launching its operations in Germany and needs a Business Development Manager to own the market from day one. Based in Berlin, you will build the partner network, drive sales, and shape the company’s presence across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map target automotive partners in Berlin, including dealerships, importers, distributors, fleet operators and insurance companies with claims operations.
• Conduct cold outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn to generate new leads in an untapped market.
• Visit prospects in person, present product demos, coordinate sample testing and negotiate partnership agreements.
• Close contracts and transition accounts to ongoing key‑account management, handling orders, support and growth.
• Report pipeline status and market intelligence to the international team and senior leadership.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience, from prospecting to signed contract.
• Proven success with cold calling, email and LinkedIn outreach.
• Existing management‑level contacts within Berlin’s automotive dealerships, importers, distributors or insurance firms.
• Native‑level German and professional working proficiency in English.
• Own vehicle for partner visits (fuel and wear compensation provided).
