Casual Academic Talent Pool – Business (Integrated First Year)

About the role

UNSW Business School is seeking enthusiastic casual academics to join the Integrated First Year (IFY) teaching team. You will support a redesigned Bachelor of Commerce curriculum that integrates contemporary business themes across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver face‑to‑face, hybrid and online tutorials and workshops for IFY business courses.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary learning by linking business concepts across multiple subjects.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate teaching records.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in teaching, coaching or mentoring at tertiary level.
• Ability to collaborate with academic staff from diverse disciplines.
• Strong organisational skills and willingness to complete administrative duties.
• Legal right to work in Australia and an Australian bank account.

Required skills

• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and online teaching tools.
