CIB Sales‑Trade Manager (VP) – Frankfurt

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking a senior professional to lead sales, origination and structuring of trade and working‑capital solutions for corporate clients across the DACH and Nordics region. Based in Frankfurt, you will manage a dedicated portfolio of customers, drive new business and ensure seamless execution of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new trade and working‑capital business through client outreach and relationship development.
• Coordinate commercial plans, financial analyses and pitches with relationship managers and internal partners (product, private‑debt, compliance, legal, IT, operations).
• Maintain sector knowledge, identify cross‑sell opportunities and position Santander’s solutions.
• Deliver client presentations, manage the sales‑to‑implementation journey and act as escalation point.
• Oversee internal approval processes, ensuring profitability and portfolio alignment.
• Support and develop junior staff, fostering a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate banking, trade finance or working‑capital solutions.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of revenue generation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and presentation abilities.
