About the role

BluePen AI is seeking a passionate education specialist to join the founding team as a Co‑founder. You will drive the integration of our screen‑free AI tutor into German schools, shaping curriculum alignment, pilot programmes, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate the German education system end‑to‑end, including state curricula (Lehrpläne), school approval processes, and Kultusministerien requirements.
• Secure pilot access with schools, districts, and education authorities across Bundesländer, starting with Saxony‑Anhalt.
• Own syllabus alignment to ensure learning content maps precisely to grade‑level curricula in all German states.
• Identify and manage legal and regulatory challenges such as data‑privacy (DSGVO/GDPR), EdTech procurement rules, Schulgesetz requirements, and parental consent frameworks.
• Define the pedagogical vision and learning architecture of BluePen AI, grounding content in evidence and European curricular standards.
• Collaborate with the CEO and CTO at the strategy table, representing the German education perspective.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (within the last 5 years) from a recognized German university.
• Deep understanding of the German school system, curricula, and classroom dynamics.
• Proven ability to build relationships with education authorities, schools, and policymakers.
• Strong commitment to evidence‑based pedagogy and EdTech innovation.
