Communication Specialist (PR) – Sales Market Germany

About the role

As a Communication Specialist focused on public relations for the German sales market, you will shape and deliver PR strategies that reinforce the H&M brand, support commercial objectives, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize the annual PR and communications budget with a cost‑conscious mindset.
• Develop and execute PR and communication plans aligned with global strategies and local market needs.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure brand‑consistent messaging across channels.
• Plan and implement PR activations such as press releases, press days, events, and media outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with fashion‑industry media, influencers, and celebrities.
• Oversee agency collaborations and external partnerships to meet business and brand goals.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on media coverage, sentiment, and campaign performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of PR or communications experience, preferably in fashion, retail or consumer brands.
• Strong external communication and stakeholder‑management skills with an established fashion‑industry network.
• Proven event‑management experience, from planning to execution.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages as required for the market.
