Communications Manager – Entertainment Streaming (Germany)

About the role

Amazon’s Prime Video is building the premier entertainment destination in Germany. As Communications Manager you will partner with the local Munich team to design and execute media and publicity programmes that amplify our German‑original series, movies and global exclusive content.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the communications subject‑matter expert for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Develop and launch communication strategies and publicity campaigns for locally produced and global Prime Video titles.
• Conceptualise and manage premieres, talent interviews, set visits and press junkets for original, exclusive and first‑run content.
• Collaborate with Prime Video Communications colleagues across Europe and with Amazon MGM Studios.
• Partner with business leads, content, marketing, social media, advertising teams and external PR agencies.
• Provide strategic counsel to business partners and ensure consistent messaging across regions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations or corporate communications, preferably within entertainment or media.
• Deep understanding of the German‑language market and cultural nuances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong advisory skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
