Community Manager for AAA Game Studio

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Community Manager to build and nurture the community for our upcoming AAA survival RPG title. Working onsite in Munich, you will shape how players engage with the game, each other, and the studio from pre‑launch through release.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow the community across Discord, Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Create platform‑specific content such as posts, short videos and memes.
• Run and moderate our Discord server and any forum spaces, setting the tone as the community expands.
• Identify, engage and build relationships with streamers, content creators and influencers in the survival and RPG space.
• Plan and execute community events, beta programs and creator outreach initiatives.
• Gather player feedback, surface insights and relay them to the development team.
• Collaborate with marketing, PR and development to align community activities with the studio’s narrative.
• Track and report on community growth, sentiment and engagement metrics.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for survival games and active participation in related communities.
• Deep understanding of what makes gaming communities thrive, gained through personal experience on Discord, subreddits and similar platforms.
• Strong writing and communication abilities with a keen sense of tone and voice.
• Comfortable creating content across text, images and short video formats.
• Self‑driven, able to take ownership of building a community from scratch.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to work onsite in Munich.
• Nice to have: professional experience in community management, social media or content creation.
