Compliance & Quality Manager

About the role

Austability GmbH is seeking an experienced Compliance & Quality Manager to lead regulatory compliance, quality assurance and audit activities across three US military training installations in Bavaria (Grafenwöhr, Hohenfels, Ansbach). This senior leadership position reports to the Portfolio Manager and holds principal authority over a wide range of US, German and EU regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with 47 regulatory requirements covering US military standards, German employment law and EU health & safety.
• Implement and maintain a 5‑Tier Quality Control Framework on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence.
• Manage contractual reporting, including CDRs, PERSTAT and monthly QA reports.
• Drive corrective‑action tracking with a target of 95% closure within 30 days.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit readiness.
• Monitor KPIs to achieve 100% certification compliance, zero audit deductions and ≥90% inspection scores.
• Supervise the HSE Representative and provide oversight to Site Coordinators.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in defence or government contracting.
• Strong knowledge of US military regulations (e.g., TB MED 530, AR 30‑22, OSHA).
• Proven ability to manage multi‑framework compliance environments and audit processes.
• ServSafe Manager certification (essential).
• Degree in Quality, Food Science, Environmental Health or related (preferred).
• Fluent English; German language skills are advantageous.
