Conformity & Attestation IT Architect – Hamburg

About the role

Airbus Commercial is seeking a Conformity & Attestation IT Architect to join the Configuration Management Product Service Line Team in Hamburg. The role will drive the architecture and transformation of Conformity & Attestation processes in line with the Airbus ERP Transformation programme.

Key responsibilities

• Define the future IT architecture that meets business needs and supports the Conformity & Attestation transformation.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to teams following the SAFe methodology.
• Act as the technical referent for the DPCA team on SAP technologies, proposing simple, maintainable solutions and sharing knowledge.
• Serve as the focal point with the ERP Centre of Excellence (DE organisation) and perform technical audits of deliverables.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and shop‑floor stakeholders to align local business specificities with global C&A objectives.
• Ensure timely resolution of Conformity & Attestation incidents and support on‑duty periods (approximately one week every 6‑8 weeks).

Required profile

• Strong background in SAP architecture and ERP environments.
• Experience working in a multinational aerospace or industrial setting.
• Ability to work autonomously and act as a technical mentor for the DPCA team.

Required skills

• SAP (including PAC, PEA, PDA, PGI, PHL)
• Conformity & Attestation tools: CAIR, AIR, DAIR, Traceability applications
• Knowledge of SAFe methodology
