Construction Foreman

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Foreman to lead daily construction and industrial site operations at our Cologne location. The role involves coordinating crews, managing equipment, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely, on schedule, and to the required specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and monitor tasks for work crews, ensuring timely completion.
• Supervise the use of heavy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Organise and control the delivery of materials, tools and equipment on site.
• Interpret plans and technical drawings, liaising with project managers and subcontractors.
• Enforce safety guidelines, report progress and any issues to management.
• Support maintenance and repair activities for site machinery and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in construction or industrial plant environments.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with crews, management and external partners.
• Practical carpentry background and hands‑on experience with structural work.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in construction, metal structures or industrial maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cologne and handle the physical demands of the role.
