Construction Manager – CSA Packages

About the role

Mercury is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of CSA (Construction Services Agreement) packages for internal fit‑out, civil, structural and architectural works at our Frankfurt site. The role combines site safety, quality assurance, schedule and cost management to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal fit‑out, civil, structural and architectural work packages.
• Manage site safety together with the Mercury Safety Advisor, including set‑up, monitoring and hand‑over documentation.
• Oversee QA/QC processes in partnership with the Project Manager and Quality Manager, implementing Mercury procedures.
• Control the project schedule with the planner, subcontractors and consulting engineers/architects to meet client and Mercury requirements.
• Monitor project costs (labour, material, plant, equipment, variations and valuations) with support from the project quantity surveyor.
• Direct day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance with Mercury policies and procedures.
• Track subcontractor progress, conduct weekly meetings, and manage the “In Progress” snagging system for CSA packages.
• Maintain up‑to‑date subcontractor documentation, including safety records, in line with company standards.
• Participate in site, internal project, engineering, planning, coordination and hand‑over meetings.
• Report labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator and upload weekly progress reports to the project Filekey system.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing internal fit‑out, civil, structural and architectural work packages.
• Experience coordinating site safety and QA/QC activities on construction projects.
• Ability to manage project schedules, costs and subcontractor performance.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, hand‑over files and snagging processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
