Construction Manager – Data Center Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading international data centre owner and operator, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of complex capital projects in Frankfurt. You will be responsible for site‑based construction activities, coordinating contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure safe, on‑time and on‑budget delivery of new builds, expansions and infrastructure upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site‑based construction activities across complex capital projects, managing contractor mobilisation and execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on programme and within budget.
• Coordinate construction work with mechanical & electrical systems and support commissioning, testing and handover.
• Produce regular progress reports, dashboards and risk registers for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards and company procedures, and support audits and certifications.
• Manage project close‑out, operational handover, documentation and lessons‑learned capture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering data centre construction projects.
• Proven experience on large‑scale, mission‑critical projects with strict programme and budget constraints.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and contractor management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
