Construction Manager – Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg

About the role

Join Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg as a Construction Manager, coordinating contractors and ensuring seamless project delivery across multiple sites. You will work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment, contributing to the launch of revolutionary sustainable‑energy products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several construction projects simultaneously, tracking progress and budgets.
• Handle Design Change Requests (DCRs) from concept to completion and resolve technical barriers.
• Submit and follow up on RFIs and Field Change Requests, mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with Procurement to create work packages, evaluate bids, and prepare Statements of Work.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Legal, Commissioning, Manufacturing, and Technical Service teams.
• Lead hand‑over processes, ensuring timely Blue/Green Tag completion.
• Provide design input during reviews and develop templates/standards for future phases.
• Maintain project schedule and budget compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of site‑management experience on comparable projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, EHS processes, risk assessment, scheduling, cost control, and bidding procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to spend substantial time on‑site.
