Construction Manager – Infrastructure

About the role

Join Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg team as a Construction Manager focused on infrastructure. You will drive projects from concept through completion, ensuring seamless coordination among engineering, construction, legal, and technical services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Track Design Change Requests (DCRs) from development to final completion.
• Respond to technical queries, remove barriers, and keep projects on schedule.
• Align regularly with the Technical Service team on new systems and implementations.
• Submit and follow up on RFIs and FCRs with clear proposals.
• Work with Procurement to create biddable work packages, validate contractor bids, and prepare Statements of Work.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders across Engineering, Construction, Legal, Commissioning, Manufacturing, and Technical Services.
• Facilitate documentation review, handover processes, and Blue/Green Tag procedures.
• Provide design input during reviews and assess constructability of designs.
• Develop templates and standards for future phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in infrastructure construction management (civil or electrical).
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to spend a high percentage of time on‑site and perform hands‑on tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, cross‑functional organization with tight timelines.
