Construction Manager – Railway Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the daily site operations of a major railway infrastructure project in Stuttgart. The role is a 24‑month freelance assignment, offering a competitive rate and the opportunity to work closely with a diverse set of contractors and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure site operations run smoothly.
• Coordinate and manage contractors and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Guarantee that all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor progress, identify and resolve on‑site issues promptly.
• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders and client teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience in railway projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
