Construction Site/Project Manager

About the role

Linnk Group is seeking an experienced Construction Site/Project Manager to support a major logistics infrastructure programme in Germany. This freelance/contract position will be based onsite in Rheinberg and will run for at least 12 months, potentially extending to 2029. The role serves as the primary onsite representative of the Construction Manager, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Construction Manager’s “eyes and ears” on site, monitoring daily construction progress and safety.
• Provide regular site updates and progress reports to the wider project team.
• Attend daily site meetings, internal calls, and coordinate communication across contractors, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate site issues, construction risks and programme impacts proactively.
• Support multiple phases of the ongoing logistics construction programme.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with programme objectives.
• Assist with scope changes, documentation review and back‑office coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction, site management, engineering, facilities or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale logistics, warehouse, industrial or infrastructure construction projects.
• Previous role as Construction Manager or Site Manager on complex programmes.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and project lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site activities.
• Fluent in English and German.
