Contracts Manager / Procurement Contracts Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager to join its Procurement Contracts department for the Space Systems business line. Based in Bremen, you will provide strategic contract expertise that supports the development of next‑generation space systems for commercial and governmental customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Procurement Contract Manager focal point for Space Systems activities, primarily in Germany.
• Support Call for Tenders by assessing contractual baselines, reviewing bid elements, and preparing negotiations.
• Lead contract drafting and negotiations in close collaboration with the Procurement function.
• Approve contract awards and ensure compliance with legal, export‑control and internal policies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal and Export Control experts throughout the contract lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement contract management, preferably within aerospace or defence.
• Strong understanding of contract law, tender processes and export‑control regulations.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, international team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
