Controlling Manager - Value & Cost Controlling (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Controlling Manager for Value & Cost Controlling you will lead a dedicated team that provides financial transparency and supports value‑oriented steering across the global business. You will act as the primary finance partner for senior management on cost and value‑creation topics, helping the company achieve its financial targets during the standalone journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Value & Cost Controlling team, fostering a collaborative, business‑partner culture.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting on functional cost controlling, allocation models and process automation.
• Steer financial monitoring of value‑creation initiatives, delivering insights on impact, milestones, risks and opportunities.
• Control Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and external service providers, providing transparency on scope, costs, service levels and timelines.
• Design and implement a performance‑management framework, including KPI definition, target setting, variance analysis and profitability monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support smooth transitions into the target operating model.

Required profile

• Proven experience in controlling, cost management or financial steering within a large, international organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, decision‑relevant insights.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to partner with senior leadership.
• Leadership experience in building and developing high‑performing finance teams.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
