Corporate Compliance Support – Coatings Division

About the role

Join BASF’s Coatings division as a Corporate Compliance Support professional. You will help shape the newly created Legal, Compliance & IP department, ensuring the global compliance strategy is implemented across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and execute the global compliance strategy in line with corporate directives and legal requirements.
• Prepare materials, presentations and documentation for internal compliance meetings and management briefings.
• Coordinate governance activities, platforms and documentation for the Corporate Compliance department.
• Design, improve and visualise processes that support the compliance management system.
• Maintain compliance tools, databases and communication channels to keep information up‑to‑date.
• Facilitate information exchange, best‑practice sharing and guidance within the global compliance community.
• Support the worldwide training and awareness programme, handling planning, logistics, tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Vocational training with additional education or a university degree in business administration, compliance, law, risk management, communication or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in compliance, corporate governance, project management or a similar function within an international company, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive team player with excellent organizational and structured work habits.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Experience with compliance tools or platforms.
• Familiarity with learning management systems.
