Corporate Controller – Developer Platforms

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Controller for our Developer Platforms team in Hamburg. The role sits within a restructuring team that manages renewable‑energy and real‑estate assets on behalf of a regulated fund investor. You will own the strategic controlling function, ensuring budgets, cash flows and financial performance are monitored and reported in line with the agreed framework.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategic controlling for the corporate side of developer platforms in a restructuring context.
• Monitor monthly budgets, liquidity plans, cost structures and cash flows.
• Track compliance with restructuring agreements and financial frameworks.
• Identify, analyse and report budget deviations, risks and funding requirements.
• Prepare and quality‑assure regular stakeholder reporting for management, investors, shareholders and financing partners.
• Refine reporting content, KPIs and commentary together with developers and the restructuring team.
• Support professionalisation of controlling, reporting and governance processes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic controlling, restructuring, FP&A, corporate finance, investment or portfolio controlling.
• Experience with regulated fund structures, developer platforms, renewable energy, real estate or infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to translate complex financial topics into clear management information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
